Inthispaper,rankfactorizationsandfactorleftprimefactorizationsarestudied.Theauthorsprovethatanypolynomialmatrixwithfullrowrankhasfactorleftprimefactorizations.Andforaclassofpolynomialmatrices,theauthorsgiveanalgorithmtodecidewhethertheyhaverankfactorizationsorfactorleftprimefactorizationsandcomputethesefactorizationsiftheyexist.
