Economic Dispatch of Smart Distribution Networks for Electricity Cost Reduction

摘要 Consumers'electricitycostkeepsincreasingoverthetimeinmostcountriesacrosstheworld.Themainreasonisthatimportingelectricityfromgenerationplantsfarfromaloadcenterisrelativelyexpensive,ascostsarepaidnotonlyforgenerationbutalsoforenergylossandnetworkuse.Tothisend,itismoreeconomicaltouseelectricitygeneratedbylocaldistributedgenerations.Inordertoreducecustomers'electricitycost,aneweconomicdispatchofsmartdistributionnetworksisproposed.Economicdispatchofsmartdistributionnetworkistomeetloaddemandwiththeleastconsumers'electricitycostconsideringdistributedgenerators,whilerecognizingalloperationallimitsofgenerationandtransmissionfacilitiesinadistributionnetwork.Casestudyshowsthatconsumers'electricitycostcanbereducedbyabout20%througheconomicdispatchofdistributionnetwork.Further,generationcostandemissionofdistributionnetworkarereducedaswell.
