摘要
Drugscancauseobviousdamagetothebrain.Toverifytherelationshipbetweenacupuncture,neurotrophicfactorexpressionandbraincellstructuralchanges,thisstudyestablishedaratmodelofheroinrelapseusingintramuscularinjectionofincreasingamountsofheroin.Duringthedetoxificationperiod,ratmodelsreceivedacupunctureatBaihui(DU20)andDazhui(DU14).Electronmicroscopydemonstratedthatthestructureoftheventraltegmentalareainheroinrelapseratsgraduallybecamenormalizedafteracupuncturetreatment.Immunohistochemicalstainingexhibitedthattheexpressionofbrain-derivedneurotrophicfactorandglialcellline-derivedneurotrophicfactorincreasedintheventraltegmentalareafollowingacupuncture.Moreover,theeffectsweresimilartothatofmethadone,atypeofmedicinecalledanopioid.ResultssuggestedthatacupunctureatBaihuiandDazhuiprotectedbrainneuronsagainstinjuryinratswithheroinrelapsebypromotingbrain-derivedneurotrophicfactorandglialcellline-derivedneurotrophicfactorexpression.
