OnJune2011,theBeijingResearchInstituteofUraniumGeology,anInstitutewithintheChinaNationalNuclearCorporation(CNNC),andtheDepartmentofGeology&MiningCNNCcarriedoutaprojectScientificDrillingforDeepMetallogenicResearchintheXiangshanLargeUraniumOreField.AyearlateronJune21,theproject,representingthefirstscientificdrillingofChina’suranium,wasofficiallylaunched,andsuccessfullycompletedonJune17,2013.A2818.88mofdrillingdepthhasbrokenthepreviousrecord1200mofexplorationdepth.TheXD-35DBdrillingmachinedevelopedbyChinaGeo-EquipmentCorporationistheChina’sfirstAC-VFDDirectDriveTopDriveCoreDrill.Ithasgreatlyimproved
