Sino-U.S.economicandtraderelationsaremovingintoaneraof"competitiveinterdependence".Aneconomicandtraderelationshipthatismutuallybeneficialandwin-wininessenceisfacingchallengesthatfeatureacompetitive,zero-sumgamewhichpursuesrelativegains.Mutualsuspicionisthepsychologicalrootofthezero-sumgamebetweenChinaandtheU.S.whilethecognitiverootoftheirmutualsuspicionisthesenseofuncertaintyandlackofself-confidenceaboutthefutureofitsownandtheotherside.
