摘要
Inthispaper,wemadeasystematicstudyonmorethan40yearsofobservationaldataoftentemporaryfault-crossingmeasurementsitesinthecapitalcircleregionofChina.Wecalculatedhorizontalandvertica1componentsoffaultslip,andhorizontalextensionorcompressioncomponents.Consideringthetectoniccharacteristicsofthecapitalcircleregionandregionalseismicity,weanalyzedthepresentfaultactivityofthecapitalcircleregionandtherelationshipwithearthquakes.Theresultsshowthecomplexityoffaultactivityintheregion:thelevelofactivityofallfaultsislow,mostfaultsareleft-lateralstrike-slipfaults;thereislessverticalactivitythanhorizontalactivityandcrustalmovementiscontrolledbyhorizontalmovement;faultactivityandearthquakeactivityhaveacertainrelationship,regionalfaultactivityincreasesbeforeanearthquake,andfaultactivityhascertainabnormalfeaturesbeforestrongearthquakes.
