摘要 Inthispaper,thenotionoftheboundedcompactapproximationproperty(BCAP)ofapair[Banachspaceanditssubspace]isusedtoprovethatifXisaclosedsubspaceofL∞withtheBCAP,thenL∞/XhastheBCAP.WealsoshowthatX*hastheλ-BCAPwithconjugateoperatorsifandonlyifthepair(X,Y)hastheλ-BCAPforeachfinitecodimensionalsubspaceY∈X.LetMbeaclosedsubspaceofXsuchthatM⊥iscomplementedinX*.IfXhasthe(bounded)approximationpropertyoforderp,thenMhasthe(bounded)approximationpropertyoforderp.
