摘要
Todeterminetheclimatechangesthatareduetonaturalvariabilityandthoseduetohumanactivitiesisquitechallenging,justlikedelineatingtheimpacts.Moreover,itisequallydifficulttoascertaintheadaptivestrategiesforcopingwiththeclimatechangesandinparticularfordevelopingcountrieslikeKenya.Whileclimatechangeisaglobalphenomenon,theimpactsaremoreorlessspecifictolocalareassuchasobservedinKenyancase.Thereforeclimatechangeimpactsadaptationstrategiesareappropriatelyapplicabletoagivenlocalperspective.ThestudyinvestigatedthemainindicatorsofclimatechangeandeffectiveadaptivestrategiesthatcanbeemployedinKenya.Basedononlinequestionnairesurvey,thestudyestablishedunpredictablerainfallpatternsasthemajorindicatorofclimatechangeinthecountry,whilewaterharvestingandchangeofcroppingmethodsarethebestadaptivestrategies.
