Dynamic analysis of multi-link spatial flexible manipulator arms with dynamic stiffening effects

摘要 Thedynamicsformulti-linkspatialflexiblemanipulatorarmsisinvestigated.ThesystemconsideredhereisanN-flexible-linkmanipulatordrivenbyNDC-motorsthroughNrevoluteflexiblejoints.Theflexibilityofeachflexiblejointismodeledasalinearlyelastictorsionalspring,andthemassofthejointisalsoconsidered.Fortheflexibilityofthelink,allofthestretchingdeformation,bendingdeformationandthetorsionaldeformationareincluded.ThecompletegoverningequationsofmotionofthesystemarederivedviatheLagrangeequations.Thenonlineardescriptionofthedeformationfieldoftheflexiblelinkisadoptedinthedynamicmodeling,andthusthedynamicstiffeningeffectsarecaptured.Basedonthismodel,ageneral-purposesoftwarepackagefordynamicsimulationofmulti-linkspatialflexiblemanipulatorarmsisdeveloped.Severalillustrativeexamplesaregiventovalidatethealgorithmpresentedinthispaperandtoindicatethatnotonlydynamicstiffeningeffectsbutalsotheflexibilityofthestructurehassignificantinfluenceonthedynamicperformanceofthemanipulator.
